About Forest Liaison

Established in 2007, Forest Liaison, Inc. (FLI) is a New Brunswick company that provides operator training for the timber harvesting industry. FLI works with clients to conduct in-depth analysis and training of timber harvesting operations, troubleshoot issues/bottlenecks, develop strategic workforce development plans, and implement improvement & “best practices” through management and operator training.

FLI has extensive experience with developing training programs with its clients and partners and has more than a decade of experience delivering training schools for various forest companies in Eastern Canada.

Our experienced team of eight trainers and ten employees are based in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. With a combined experience of more than 100 years, FLI provides coaching services to more than 500 operators throughout Canada and internationally each year.

FLI provides training and coaching on all equipment brands and all machinery being used in the forest industry today.

FLI also has a comprehensive mill yard equipment operator training program including wheel, bucket and fork loaders along with knuckle boom loaders.

The FLI team focuses on positive reinforcement and inspiration as tools to inspire learning. Our curriculum is implemented in modular programs that can be suited to every client’s needs and is supported by best practices and manuals that are adapted to most types and brands of harvesting equipment. Our programs are offered primarily OTJ (on the job) but we can also provide in class training when required.
